About Me
An L.A. Woman with a Lust for Life
I am an amateur street photographer who creates a cinematic depiction of everyday life. I love capturing people, architecture, and city life. I aim to reflect the ordinary and transform it into a dynamic piece of art. I have been involved in photography and graphic design since 2014 and continue to learn and grow into my style and technique. I not only shoot and edit my own photographs, but design and maintain this website.
I am 21-years-old and a student at Pasadena City College. I plan to study graphic design at Cal State LA. My main hobbies include photography, graphic design, and vinyl collecting. I also enjoy watching arthouse films, listening to music, attending concerts, and learning new things. I am also a massive Sparks and Lana Del Rey fan girl.

I take most of my inspiration from cinema, especially from filmmakers such as Jacques Demy, Anna Biller, Pedro Almodóvar, Agnès Varda, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Nobuhiko Obayashi, Sion Sono, and Sofia Coppola. I love the role that color plays in their films. I am also often drawn to a strong black and white image. Whether they are in color or black and white, I don't ever want my photographs to look the way I originally captured them - that would be a bore. I always aim for contrast or what is perhaps unexpected. My father was also a large inspiration in developing my street photography style. I also like to include popular culture references in my photograph names, which usually draw from music or films. Below is a list of some of my references, just for fun.

Much like a bowl of Canter’s Deli's mish mosh soup, my work is diverse. It is eminiscent of Los Angeles, a city that is so eclectic and constantly changing, yet still contains many remnants of the past. My photography is a mish mosh of different inspirations, styles, people, and subjects. Much like Los Angeles and Canter’s beloved soup, it is full of love, dedication, and hard work. My work is a love letter to life and Los Angeles. I am an L.A. Woman with a Lust for Life! I hope you enjoy my photography as much as I love creating it.
